Run, run away from Brook. They took out extensions, and she is the "extension persion" (and she's a trainer, as she'll tell you 3 million times). She said she had the tool my former stylist had to remove them - nope. Basically pliers that shredded my hair on the way out. The color was fine, but my hair: DISASTER. Truly, truly awful. I wanted a few, wispy bangs - I'm now sporting Joan Jett circa 1970 - not hot. As I was saying let me think about the bangs for a minute, and only cut one side - she was chopping, and chopping off both sides.
My first attempt was a non-style. I was really unhappy, called back and said give me someone that knows how to cut FINE hair. They wouldn't let me get anyone but her. Her next attempt basically shredded off my hair. I'm not kidding - you can see through the ends, they're so thin, she sheared off most of it. Terrible, terrible layers, it's going grow out horrendously, and I have a bunch of meetings with hair that really sucks and is too short to put up.
I have zero training, and I cut my daughter's hair so much better than this. Her bangs are super cute, and it grows out well. Seriously Brook - you can get that training by watching YouTube.
I signed up for an account just to warn people about this disaster with shears. If you decide to go...don't say I didn't warn you.
