This place is great! We love to surprise our friends with how good the food and service is here. Family owned/ran and the food is the best. This place a definitely a neighborhood gem!!! more

This is a small non descript place, however, and I do not know much about Peruvian food it is worth a stop. We have eaten here about four times and found the food and service very good. I am not a fan of ceviche, but I will tell you I enjoyed theirs. They also make one of the best fried rice entree I have ever had, go figure! They also have some strange combinations like pasta with pesto and a steak, but you know what...it was very good (both the pasta and the steak). Again, the place is not fancy at all but the food is good. So, if you have never tried Peruvian food check it out and you might be pleasantly surprised. Oh, they have these cookies for called alfajores that are YUMMY! more

This is a nice small family own restaurant in psn. Never had peruvean food before till today. I had the grilled fish. The grill fish was seasoned and cook to perfection. I also had the Huancaína. Which is a boil potatoes with a spicy cheese sauce. My friend had the fried red snapper that look very good as well. Food was very good will visit again. more

Consistently Good 6/8/2006

Many Peruvian Restaurants have popped up and out on the culinary radar. This place is NO blip! Every time I've gone, I've been greeted with the same charm as if I was visiting Lima! The smiles are genuine and so is the cuisine. They make the best Arroz Chaufas (a savory Peruvian version of Chinese Fried Rice), the Lomo Saltado is my favorite (strips of beef sauted with onions, peppers, and the real kicker...french fries), the Ceviche is so good it makes me wanna slap my Momma! Do yourself (and your soul) a favor...order any of these dishes with a Chicha Morada (it's made of purple corn but you'd swear it was grape juice from heaven) and for desert some Picarones (think freshly-fried donuts with a molasses syrup poured over them). And say ""Hi!"" to Caeser for me - he'll take good care of you. Pros: Personable Staff, Consistenly Good Food Cons: A little on the pricey side more

One of the best Peruvian Restaurant 1/26/2004

I'm a Peruvian, and when it comes to Peruvian food, I'm the biggest critic. Costa Peruana follow the traditional HOME COOKING style food that the typical Peruvian restaurant offers. It's the best Peruvian Restaurant in the Miami Area Pros: Inexpensive, Good parking, Great Food Cons: Hiden Location more
