The Best 3/1/2011

The staff and Doctors at CAC are the best. The vets always take the time to explain exactly what is going on with my pets. Dr. Ritchie performed several surgieries on my old girl giving her several extra years of quality and healthy life. My current senior dog is now 11 and still competing in several different working and conformation events due to the quality care he has received at Companion. My dogs are also certified therapy dogs and two of them are service dogs. I have been using Dr. Ritchie and his staff for 15 years and have had nothing but excellent service! more

Original Details on 0 Stars Review 10/6/2008

Older pup was neutered.Arrived home we noticed substantial swelling site of surgery.Called, was advised some swelling is normal,keep him quiet-call if becomes worse or after x days.We kept him quiet,wearing clean Elizabethan 24/7,no improvement.He wouldn't let us near to clean with peroxide.Part of his wound healed quickly, other appeared infected and crusty still very swollen.After revisiting vet, fluid magically gone after 1 hour-no anaesthetic!!-they prescribed animaux-failed to tell us not for incision! more

Not at all pleased... 0 Stars at best! 10/6/2008

Good: They SEEMED nice enough.. Bad: I was told vet did not drain fluid from my dog's wound. Dog was so swollen his skin was shiny, an hour later we picked him up, there appeared to be NO fluid left and a new pen sized hole in area.. Improvements: I can't prove fluid was drained, and dogs can't talk. But I would hope they would have used an anaesthetic even if not billed. Newly freaked out for weeks, he wouldn't allow us to inspect his wound.. more

Great place for care and boarding 2/27/2006

The staff at Companion Animal hospital is extremely friendly. They take great care with your furry family members. If you do need to board cats and dogs, you can do it at one location. Best of all, the animal handlers are happy to see your pet come for a return visit. more

We have been in business in this location since 1998, when Companion Animal Hospital merged with Crossroads Veterinary Clinic in a 10,000 square foot facility built just for our pet clinic.
