I used COLONIAL for 6 jobs all PERFECT!!!! 12/17/2009

I have used colonial for 6 granite jobs in the last 10 months, and I am extremely satisfied on the service that I have received from the time I ordered up until installation, and continue to receive. I am a contractor and even though I have been slow in the past month or so, I still am contacted to see how I am doing and how things are. I was first seen by Parthana who brought me an assortment of chocolate covered pretzels and made everything very simple and cut and dry. She held my hand through the entire process and made everything seem simple. I sent my clients to her to pick out there granite and she took care of the rest. My clients came back telling me how great she was and that they where very happy and excited. As a contractor this is very important to me that the vendors I use uphold the standard and quality that I strive to provide, so I have happy customers in the end. All I can say is THANK YOU Colonial and Parthana!!!! I will continue to use you and tell people how great more

Buyer Beware 11/22/2009

I noticed how every negative comment on here has a remark saying they should be disregarded. Well don't disregard this one, because it is real. The WRONG granite was installed, NO response. The Granite is NOT sealed and NOTHING is done. My suggestion is find a reputable contractor/business who will stand behind their work. Cons: just bad business ethics more

Will Not Shop There Ever Again! 11/20/2009

I had so many problems with Colonial Marble. They never showed up when they said they would. When they finally arrived it was late at night and the installers were tired and dirty. I didn't feel as though they took their time with my project. They just threw everything on the cabintes and left. They were there for about ten minutes. I have already had to call them because my seam cracked. I am still waiting for the manager to call me back. Pros: easy to find Cons: too many mistakes, waste of money more

They Installed The Wrong Color! 11/20/2009

Colonial Marble showed up to my house at eight o'clock at night. As soon as they brought in the first piece of granite, I knew that they cuut the wrong color. The installers barely spoke english, but were arguing with me. They tried to convince me that I was wrong. I told them to leave my house and to come back with the color that I chose. I have been trying to get in touch with a manager for over a week. I have three kids and I still don't have a kitchen. Go to a company with experience and a good reputation. It's not worth it! THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE 11/20/2009

I can not believe that Colonial Marble is still in business. I refused to pay the balance on my counter tops, because the granite had two big cracks in front of the sink. They told me that they are part of the stone. What a joke. They told me that if I didn't pay they would rip everything out of my house. I found this company to be very helpful and informative. Everything was explained to me in great detail, more than anyone else would even take the time to do. They really cared about walking you through every step of the way. Their pricing was better than some of the bids we got and I choose to go with Colonial Marble, they did excellent job with my countertop in only 7 days. Pros: PRICE AND QUICK more

Will Say Anything To Make Sale! 11/19/2009

I run my own business. If I ran it like Colonial Marble, I would be out of business in months. They told me what I wanted to hear and didn't provide the serviice and the quality that I was promised. Sales Person Was Very Misleading! 11/19/2009

I was told that the installers are the best in the area. You should see my kitchen counters. There are two seams, even though they promised me that there would only be one seam. I wouldn't be that upset if the seams didn't stand out so much. One seam is o.k., but the other seam is not even and is as wide as my pinky. I am very dissapointed with my new granite counters. I don't think that the person who measurred for my counters knew what he was doing. The installers kept saying that he had made several mistakes. Do not trust Them 11/18/2009

Was promised the world of a deal by someone who said she was an owner of the company. She insisted she owned the company!!! Only to be left hanging around all day waiting for an installer to show. NO CALL...NO SHOW. Take your business else where or do not deal with the imposter !!! Cons: False promises....No call no show more

We had an excellent experience with Colonial Marble & Granite. 11/14/2009

We called the customer service department to ask about their service, in advance, and were treated very well. We visited the showroom on a busy Saturday. Our sales person (Sam) was very courteous and knowledgeable about the product and the installation process. He explained all of the standard features as well as the available options. He did not, at any time, try to up-sell but, he did make us aware of the different types of stone, available. When I asked him for a copy of the contract, he gave it to me immediately and left the room while i read the language. The contract language is very straight forward and does not contain any hidden problems or issues. When he returned, he answered all of my questions regarding the contract. We made the purchase decision and chose a level 2 stone. The template crew arrived as scheduled and completed the measurement of the counters within 30 minutes. Seven days later the installation crew arrived and installed our counters. There was one slight mis more

Very Bad Customer Service 11/12/2009

I bought new counters from Colonial Marble after seeing their t.v. commercial. Their commercial says that quality and service is what sets them apart from all of the rest. They are 100% right because it's the absolute worst quality and the absolute worst service is what sets them apart. They don't know the first thing about quality or service. DON'T GET FOOLED! TERRIBLE QUALITY!! 11/12/2009

I have never seen anything like this place. These guys pretend to know what they are doing. They sold me granite, gave me a cheap sink and a cheap faucet. My faucet leaked the second week. The sink scratched the first time that I put anything in it. My granite looks like it was installed by a bunch of amateurs. The seam stands out like a sour thumb. Do some research before purchasing anything from Colonial Marble. THEY REFUSE TO RETURN ANY OF MY PHONE CALLS! Pros: They have only been around for two years!!!!!!! ABSOLUTELY THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE! 11/10/2009

My husband hired Colonial Marble for new kitchen counters. We failed to do any research about this company. One week after the installation I saw a huge stain on my kitchen island. When I called Colonial for advice thay told me that I should purchase a stain remover and apply it myself. I paid a different company to remove the stain for me since Colonial refused to do anything. The other granite company told me that Colonial never even bothered to seal my new counter tops. I will never go back there again. Do yourself a favor and go with a reputable company. My Granite Was Installed Crooked! 11/10/2009

I went to Colonial Marble to look at their specials. After chosing a more expensive granite, their price was the same as some of the other companies that I had visited. The only way to save money there is by picking one of their cheap colors. The problem is that these colors are ugly. After they installed evrything I realized that the counters did not look even. I took one of my son's toy balls and placed it on my granite. The ball started rolling down my counter top and rolled right into my sink. I can't believe that their workers would leave my kitchen like this. I am still trying to get someone to come out here and take a look. I have already stopped payment on my check. Luckily I also paid the deposit with my credit card, so i called my credit card company and I'm getting them to refund my money.
