Best

Literally the best Chinese food I have had anywhere in the country. I have moved to Orlando, FL but whenever I come home, this is a must stop location!

Worst

Shrimp was a bit 'mooshey', the fried rice is bland. It consisted of white boiled rice, carrots, bits of egg and shrimp and the other the same but with beef. Would not recommend ...

Not Bad For Milwaukee 1/18/2007

You won't confuse Ching Hwa with much better Chinese restaurants in major cities such as Chicago, New York, or Seattle, either on service or food, but it's not bad at all for the Milwaukee area. Service can be spotty. Some of the staff are really pleasant and helpful, while others have a major chip on their shoulder. The food is actually pretty good, although it's probably a good idea to not get there right when they open for dinner, as they have a tendency to just warm up the leftovers from lunch to start. The seating, although rickety, is reasonably comfortable for the most part, and the decor is exquisite. Mostly recommended overall. Pros: food, decor Cons: service more

Unimpressive 12/22/2004

This is one of the first Chinese establishments I've tried in this area, and I can't say as I'm impressed with it. The service was mediocre, and the food quality overall was barely average. The nice part was that all the decorations were interesting to look at. Pros: artifacts, fair price Cons: , flavor, selection more
