I've never boarded my animals, so can't speak to the other person's terrible review. \r
\r
But J.C. Wilson did the emergency surgery on my Springer when she sliced her scalp open on a sharp piece of farm equipment, from between her eyes, clear to the back of her head.\r
\r
Dr. Wilson managed to shave her in this delicate area without nicking her, her sutures were almost invisible, and she healed beautifully. No scars, can't even tell it ever happened.\r
\r
When I didn't want to leave her there overnight (because, like most vet offices that aren't hospitals, the staff leaves at night) he waited after hours for me to come and get her, and gave me lots of info about taking care of her.\r
\r
I also took her there to get spayed; again, beautiful work, and he had to put a cone on her head to keep her from biting her stitches, and he had rigged it to be one of the smallest and most comfortable cones I've ever had to put on a dog; she never even minded it.)\r
\r
I also took her there (she's accident prone!) when she got stung by some kind of insect and swelled up terribly -- I had no appointment and he got her right in.\r
\r
So, I've had nothing to complain about! I also like his calm manner.\r
