Classless, unprofessional group of money-grubbing children running the place. Upon arrival I learned that the price of the haircut and coloring was $30 more than I was quoted over the phone. This told to me After they began working on my hair. Would not honor the quote.
Stylist Carissa seems to know only one cut and pushes you to get it. Attempts to consider other options were met with agitation. She said, " just trust me." She didn't have the Aveda color wheel that I've seen in every other salon. So I had to "trust her." I didn't get the color I wanted. Throughout the cut she seemed to be lobbying for a big tip by mentioning several times how she's struggling. When I asked about a piece of hair in the back which seemed uneven, she impatiently said, " you have a perfect cut."
I was in tears when I left. My husband saw that my hair didn't look like it had been colored & urged me to go back in and ask for a recolor. Angela, the Sat. manager told me to come back Mon (they were closing).
She asked me for my previous hairstylist's name so she can call her and ask for the "formula" so they can color my hair as I desired. I complied.
On Mon. I called another manager, Carla, and said that it would be impossible to come in for the recolor with Carissa (that day) because 1) I was about to go to a dentist's appt. and then getting ready for a 3-week trip on Tues & had no time & 2) that I didn't want Carissa to recolor & wanted, instead, a refund, so I could get the color redone at another salon while I'm away, before my holiday plans. Carla replied that she didn't care about anything I was saying, or that I was dissatissfied, and that she now had "proof" (the other salons formula) that it was the right color. She would not let me explain that I tried to tell Carissa to leave the color on longer for the richer color I desired.
Should have offered me a recolor when I returned with someone more experienced.
Pros: Aveda products
Cons: Abusive, unprofessional, pushy, tactless and immature staff
