Who would have thunk? The marriage of Celt & Cajun is the perfect spice for what ales you! Uncommonly good, distinctive local brews, combined with an Acadian-Irish flare ~ suffused in Irish homey quarters, everyone is welcomed to this purveyor of catfish, crawdads & Irish Stew! The deserts are beyond this realm! A separation of spirit can be had at bar, balcony, enchanted fire before frequent live music, or beer garden. Bring yer darts! Theres a Mug Club for aficionados treated most respectfully, while the cosmopolitan may dine upon a blackened dinner, etouffee, and gumbo ~ or try a hand at Bangers & Mash; too many choices too list! Oyster shooters, soups, salads, burgersbut a bucket of steamed dads with a hand-crafted ale is the best! This is a destination for many a date, Matey! Redmond is so sleepy, there are few places to go after nine, but Celtic Bayou gives you a fun place with great food to hang out - good music and just a nice place. Stay open later!!!! Pros: music, entertainment, good food, atmosphere Cons: closes too early, especially on Sunday more

The brewer here makes the best IPA in the state. The food is great and the wait staff is friendly and quick. Parking can be a bit sketchy on the week ends. Don't park in the bird mans parking space that runs the bird shop next door, you don't want an angry parrot hiding in the back seat when you leave. Pros: IPA, IPA, IPA more

Best IPA around 8/8/2002

Some of the folks who say the beer isn't that good must only drink that bud lite crap. If you can appreciate a real beer, then this is the place for you. Tom brews the best IPA around and he proved it by winning the people's choice award down in Portland recently. Very hoppy, very bitter!! This place has a great atmosphere, friendly staff and they brew somewhere around 12 different beers. I've made it a weekly stop. Pros: IPA, Service, Non Smoking more

Good Neighborhood Pub 7/23/2002

Warm and inviting. A great place to meet friends, listen to music, play a game of cards, or hang out and drink excellent beer. I agree there are lots-o-Microsoftees, but they're harmless. Food is okay. Pros: Great beer, Nice beer garden, Brewery tours Cons: Limited parking, Hard to find more

Bad service and Microsoft fools 5/30/2002

It took 15 minuted to get a beer and I was seated at the bar. It was full of a bunch of Microsoft geeks who thought they owned the place and monopolized the staffs time. The food and beer is god but its way over priced. Pros: good beer Cons: slow service, over priced, crowded more

Don't expect fine food. The beer is just pretty good. But it's a pub! I think other reviewers forgot that simple fact. The real bonus is getting decent food at a decent price in a nice non-smoking place. Pros: Non smoking more
