What would you expect? 4/23/2013

Caruso Managment Group has to be one of the most nightmarish companies to manage your association and/or work for. Their closing department makes the situation worse if you are trying to buy or sell in one of their communities that they manage. They hold the paid assessment letter hostage, don't answer their telephone and want you to pay exorbant fees, when your back is against the wall. And you can't reach anyone after 3pm in the closing department. But what would you expect - when the one person closing department is ran by the company owner's daughter. That about sums it up. Do you really expect them to clean house, when it is the owner's daughter?? Do you? If you are considering using this company to manage your association really consider if you want the first and last impression of the buyer's and seller's to be is their closing department. The previous association President was unwilling or unable to provide any accounting records, balance sheets, bank statements, paid invoices, cancelled checks, collection records, tax information, any accountability and very little money in cash reserves. Where is the money? Where is 14 years of monthly homeowner association dues? About $1,300,000.00 over the past 14 years poof, gone this person should be prosecuted for fraud. Caruso Management Group assessed the situation, reviewed income and expenses, they designed and executed a plan that generated revenue, reduced costs, put money in the bank and provides professional property management experience with a solid reputation, trust, service and accountability. Caruso is very responsive and reliable. As of last week 2013, Caruso Management has reported our Homeowners Association has the appropriate percentage surplus in reserves, reserve studies have been completed, we are in compliance with Federal, State, Real Estate laws and regulations current home structure repairs have been done, paid in full and maintenance schedule in up to date and planned for the next 5 years. Worse than worthless 4/19/2012

Do you want a bunch of worthless paper pushers that don't actually do anything then hire this company. Lived under their ridiculous incompetence for 8 years with about 1 bad experience a year with them. Then moved but decided to rent place out. They called and in a very aggressive mean tone demanded a copy of lease and said I must provide the renters with a copy of rules and regs. No problem right? Well despite living there 8 years I managed to survive without ever receiving a copy of these sacred rules and regs so how do I get one? I would occasionally be enlightened about one when we broke some randomly enforced rule. So to get a copy to send to renters I can either go to their office and register as a renter and pay $10 for a paper copy or go online to get it. Oh but online requires I register as a homeowner. So to get that info they need more paperwork proving I am owner. I've owned it for 8 years, they have my name as the owner but they still don't have enough proof I own it?!?!?!! Either the information is not really needed or they are completely incompetent, my guess is both. SO MORE PAPERWORK required! All of this so that my renter can follow their rules. A company with a shred of customer service would have taken my renters email and emailed a copy. No disrespect to the most bureaucratic least efficient government agency but this company certainly could give you a good name. more
