I was VERY impressed by Carolina's Children Dentistry.My children were never nervous to see the dentist after their first visit at this office. \r One of my children needed some work with sedation, they made sure she was comfortable and even that experience did not sway her opinion of the dentist. The atmosphere, dentists, and staff are all great and I would definitely recommend it. more

Smile! 9/8/2005

I was nervous the first time we had to take our son to a dentist. I thought that he would be afraid, but when we got to Carolina Childrens Dentistry, we were amazed. They had him opening wide in no time. He really enjoyed it and has been flossing ever since. It's out of our way to go there, but the trip is really worth it. My son can't wait for his bi-annual check ups and we are very pleased with the service. more

  • From as early as she could remember, Dr. Felicia Goins wanted to work in children’s dentistry. So, after completing her residency in pediatric dentistry in 1985, Dr. Goins founded Carolina Children’s Dentistry in Sumter, SC. She established the practice because she realized that there was a need for children to receive the best dental care in the state, especially in those rural areas where there are not many dentists practicing. She practiced solo for almost 13 years before Dr. Lisbeth Poag joined her in 1998.
