Excellent Italian Food 6/9/2006

Offering a nice selection of Italian dishes, Carmen's homemade sauce knocks the competitors socks off. The only ones that are in this class are Arnones Restaurant on 18th and Cherry and Hector's on 18th and Liberty. I've had ravs and gnocchi here, both excellent. My biggest complaint with the local Italian restaurants is that they don't offer fresh grated parm for their awesome, homemade sauces!!!! Served with salad and bread, their dinners are fairly priced and well worth every penny. I enjoy going there at lunch time as the crowds are very small. Dinner times are a little more hectic but worth any wait you have. more

Excellent food, hidden location!! 1/4/2006

As state by prior posts, this is an excellent little Italian restaurant, that is missed by many. Run by sisters the business has been in the family for years. The food is old style Italian served with personality! May not look like much from the outside, but don't miss! more

Cozy Italian restaurant 9/26/2005

This cozy little Italian restaurant is tucked back, but a wonderful find. The cooking is all homemade, including the pasta. The woman who served us was Italian and we were amazed at the large servings and wonderful, friendly service. There are quite a few Italian places in Erie, but if you are looking for a cozy, not overly crowded one to get good Italian cooking, look no further. more

Hidden Italian restaurant 7/31/2005

One could very easily overlook this restaurant but DON'T! It is kind of hidden away in an area that doesnt have a lot of businesses, but the food is worth seeking it out. It is homemade Italian cuisine at it's best! It is a familyu owned restaurant that has mostly all Italian food. I think there may be a steak on the menu but that's about it. So make sure you are in the mood for great Italian food. more
