Canfora Bakery is Wonderful, home made and excellent selection 12/15/2009

I stopped in for the first time this week, and like other reviews here, I was totally Wowed by this bakery. The selection is wonderful. I loved the salted rye bread, the deli case was excellent. I bought several salads, home made ham salad that was delicious, and much more reasonably priced than Pick N Save. Great german potatoe salad. They even carry milk, butter and eggs. Wow, first decent, useful business in the Bay View area. I can't wait to go back! more

Great Donuts 9/24/2007

This bakery is a great place to visit. They have everything. They have a great variety of donuts. My kids love to visit. The staff is very friendly and helpful. You can also order your cakes for special occasions. more

I love when it is time to order a birthday cake from canfora bakery, they are simply the best, the frosting is whipped cream,the layering of the cake with raspberry filling,yum yum. more

It wouldn't be a Birthday without a Birthday Cake from Canfora Bakery. Canfora Bakery is probably the best business to move into my neighborhood. Whether it's for ham and rolls on Sunday, soup and sandwiches during the week for lunch, sweet cinnamon rolls and chocolate biscotti's or fresh artichoke salad from the deli case - stop at Canfora's is tempting at every pass. The staff/workers/owners are always friendly and positive, like a home away from home. more

Convenient and good quality 10/17/2005

I enjoy real bakery over store bought bread and buns. This bakery provides a wide variety of fresh baked breads, sweets and Rolls. Their cakes are also good and reasonably priced. I have gotten ham and roast beef there too and was satisfied with both. PROS: Good products at reasonable prices , Fresh too CONS: One problem very crowded on Sunday mornings , good for them not for me more

Canfora Bakery 6/19/2005

Now this is a bakery! The store does not appear very large until you walk through the door. I couldn't believe my eyes! There is a very nice deli section with many many choices. They even offer a daily hot lunch. They have just about any kind of bakery you can imagine. I think the prices are reasonable too. Stop in sometime--you'll be glad you did! more

I was sitting at my desk arguing with my neighbor over what is better; my Peanut Butter-Chocolate Brownie or his Chocolate Mousse Mini-cake when I realized what the real problem was the Canfora Bakery had yet to be reviewed on Citysearch.com.
