I would never recommend the CJ Patton Center to anyone. Carol Patton is not an MD. At the beginning of my treatment there, she told me that she was an MD. I later found out that this is not the case. She lied to me to my face. Furthermore, she received her ND status through the mail. She was not required to attend college classes on a campus in a classroom as an MD would. Also, naturopathic doctors are not by law allowed to make recommendations concerning prescription medication, as it is out of their area of expertise. I was witness to Carol Patton telling several of her patients, some of whom I know well, to discontinue use of their prescription medications. As I said before, this is illegal. It is also rather dangerous, as Carol Patton is unqualified to make these judgement calls. Furthermore, several of these patients became ill while following these directions. Their health improved dramatically as soon as they stopped following the direction of Carol Patton. Also, Carol Patton administers the worst colonics I have ever experienced. She is very rough, which is not desirable in a colon hydrotherapist for obvious reasons. Her colonics are actually rather painful and will leave the patient feeling gassy, bloated, and nauseous. I think it also important for everyone to know that many times Carol Patton has employed very underqualified people at the CJ Patton Center. She has often employed some of her family members who have no training other than that which she has provided them. I cannot urge you strongly enough, DO NOT GO TO THE CJ PATTON CENTER!
Pros: I can't think of any!
Cons: illegal practices, lack of integrity, phenominally underqualified staff
