Carole Greenwood, the chef at Buck's, needs a reality-check. Buck's is a good idea with its unique, fun decor and a limited menu (for better control quality and freshness of ingredients?), but the meals I've had here have been just "fine." Considering the prices, I would expect better than just "fine." Plus, don't ever ask for any type of alteration to her menu. On one trip, the menu specified that grilled veggies were supposed to come on the side of an entree. The dish showed up, no veggies. We asked the waiter about the veggies; he returned with a plate of baby zucchini that has been charred to a black, burnt-crisp. Ick. Do yourself a favor, have a drink at the bar (very nice bartender) & enjoy the atmosphere that way.
