This is a good place to live. It's near the excitement, arts and culture of downtown COS, but still secluded at the same time. Wonderful views of Pikes Peak/Rampart Range and downtown from the large covered balconies. Next to Monument Valley Park with great hiking/biking trails. Residents are pretty chill. Proximity to BNSF trains gets a little noisy, but windows and sliding glass doors block-out most of the sound. The property could be more eco-friendly. The addition of recycling bins would be nice. When I first moved in, my unit was recently remodeled yet all the light bulbs were incandescents so I switched to CFLs. ..New owners have promised ""many wonderful upgrades,"" but hopefully they won't jack-up the rent...Property Manager is very pushy and has poor communication skills. It is no fun being the second-fiddle step child to the hoity toity Cascade Park apartments up the street.
Pros: Great location, great value
Cons: Proximity to railroad tracks, management is split with another property
