Great male trainer! Been a member for 3 years and have been training for almost 1 ½ years with only male trainer there. Classes are great too. Male trainer is very professional, able to work around my busy work schedule, gives me lots of motivation and is top notch! I have seen HUGE improvements in my body and I have a lot to be thankful for. Trainer is NOT like the trainers at LA Fitness who sit back at their desks all day and basically count your reps. I would absolutely recommend this gym and the professional trainers. more

I have been a member of BSF since 2009. I did not have many goals when I started the gym- basically wanted to lose some weight. Three years later I have lost 3 sizes, 25 pounds and at least 4 inches from my waist & thighs! This was accomplished with the help of the trainers, staff and owners of BSF. I wasn’t sure about the move from Imperial to McDonald but WOW what a great new start! The members are also wonderful people; always smiling and offering a helping hand or suggestion. Their group fitness classes are by far the best in the Pittsburgh area. The motivation from the staff is exactly what any gym should offer their members. I also have a personal trainer who pushes me to my max, which allows me to feel self-confidence in my everyday life. When I walk out of BSF I feel like I can DO anything! Not many gyms can offer all that! more

Member for two years, recently entered biggest loser contest at gym, staff was supportive and helpful with diet, excersise program and cardio suggestions. With the help of this place I was able to lose 40 lbs over a period of 6 months. There trainers are probably the best I've ever experienced. Was a previous member of Bally's. If you are serious about training and excercise program Body Systems is for you. more

I've been a member for almost 2 years now and have had nothing but a wonderful experience! The staff, owners, and instructors are all very friendly and helpful. I enjoy the classes offered and using the cardio equipment. I have nothing but great things to say about BSF! more

This place is great dont go by the bad reviews some are old and the gym isnt even at that location anymore very clean and nice employees great price and open 24/7 more

I have been a member of Body Systems Fitness since 2002. The move to the new location was an excellent one!! The space is wonderful and allows for so much more activity. The staff is friendly and welcoming and will go above and beyond to ensure your satisfaction. The classes are great and the instructors motivating, especially Body Pump!! In reading the other reviews about the negetive billing issues you have to take them with a grain of salt. The contract that you sign clearly outlines the terms of cancellation and should be read and understood prior to joining. I have never had any issues with BSF and would glady recommend to friends and family!!! ****Plus, the new location allows 24 hour access!!!!****** more

i have been going there for about 10 months now an i like it, yea the equipment is a little old but i have no problem with it, the owners are nice people, i do concur about the male trainer, if you are not a pretty yong mid 20 girl he will not give you the time of day, so i don't ever bother with him or his classes, i just go there an do my own thing, there are alot of nice people that go there an as for a contract, do not have one, so you can quit or freeze your acount at any time, an i would recomend it to any one more

new members please beware of the contract you sign!!! this gym is affiliated with ASF International. they are a terrible dishonest company and the better business bureu is conducting investigations with ASF keeping credit info and charging your card lonnnnnnng after you cancel the gym membership. Look em up, you will see. Body systems fitness is not much better than ASF. they do not give a sh*t about their members, their personal trainers are more concerned with flirting with the pretty girls rather than training people that actually paid for the service. this club will not care about your opinion or anything else for that matter. the owners "bill" and "chip" are terrible business minded people. they wonder why the imperial location shut down.......as this one will soon. SO, if you want to waste your money at a dishonest subpar gym, this is the place to go. F' this place! more

I joined this gym in the summer and really regret it. From day one, the gym was terrible. The equipment is old and never works and the supposed personal trainers are awful! I figured I would give this gym a chance due to its convenient location to my house, however, I would rather drive an extra ten minutes to the new LA Fitness then step another foot in this gym. In agreement with olayface, the people who utilize the gym are very friendly, but the trainers are very unprofessional to say the least. They are very rude, talk about members, and talk about personal drama which is never professional. I did a couple classes in the summer with their only male trainer and he was bad. I did a different class and unfortunately had the same instructor. He was more worried about hitting on the female members then the workout. I could talk for hours about how unprofessional, dirty, and old this gym is but I HOPE you get the gist. more

I've been a member at this gym for many years now and have recently become really disgusted with numerous things there. The air NEVER works and you feel like you are going to die of heat exhaustion when done working out. It takes months for the equipment to get fixed. All of the equipment is outdated and the cardio equipment seems to never properly work. And now they have summer hours, which are not for the better, they are closing earlier. All I can say is why pay for a membership when these problems are continually happening and not improving. So just think of these things when you are looking for a new gym... Not a Happy Member!! more

I have been a member of Body Systems Fitness for about a year. The facility is outstanding! Very clean, very convienent, and very friendly. The hours are awesome! I have made many friends with the other members and the staff. I have met the owners also and they have been very friendly and accomodating. The staff is also great! I usually go in the morning time and the people there in the morning are especially nice. I am very glad I chose this gym after pricing others in the area. My membership will be coming up soon and I will definitley stay with this gym. Pros: Friendly staff Cons: none that come to mind more

this fitness facility is very small and not clean. the people that utilize the gym are very friendly. the owners of the gym are not!! they are rude and talk about the members in the gym. they cause many problems for nice members of the community!! the gym equipment is not updated and in fact quite old! the owners claim to be personal trainers but are very out of shape to say the least!. avoid this gym and put your money toward a larger clean gym in the area.
