Coming from a former employee I am tlling you all to NEVER GO TO DR. CAROL YEISLEY at Berks Mobile Veterinar Services. I worked there for a long time and could barely stand to see...

I would highly recommend Dr. Yeisley. She has provided quality affordable care for my 2 cats, my cockatoo and my dog for several years and frankly I find it hard to believe any of the negative comments posted. Certainly I found her long time technician and kennel person to be very caring and my pets have always been very well cared for, especially when ill or injured (my dog was hit by a car after he ran off and she took EXCELLENT care of him and understood I could not afford a specialist at the time). It seems that unfortunately the many many people who are happy clients (others I personally have referred to her) are not posting their experiences. If you want to have a veterinarian who will be very frank and honest about your pet's health care, and will give you a choice of treatments to try, you should see her. My pets have been very happy with her, and I recommend her services. more

Interesting reviews. Can't speak for anyone but my own family...but none of this rings true for us at all. We've been going to her for a long time -over 8 years (as have several physician friends of ours)....and we have never seen or heard of any of this from anyone. She has always spent time with us, always been available, answers the after hours oncall herself and quickly, makes exceptions easily for last minute boarding and has extended hours out of kindness, been great to and with our animals as well as our family, we've never waited in an exam room unless we were late to the appointment and she was on to the next appointment (and she squeezed us in -which was our fault and not hers). We've had 4 cats and 3 dogs go to her over 8 years -no issues with any of them. Saved 2 of their lives one with excellent care the other with lifesaving surgery (a miracle as he'd had a surgery for same by another vet prior and at that time we were told another surgery would not be successful because there was nothing left to work with). She put 2 of our older and failing dogs to sleep....would never go to anyone but her for this. Sat with us both times, once in the home and once on the exam room floor -both times for close to an hour.....did everything at our/animals pace to make it the best of a horrible time, very compassionate. Has always kept us up to date, office always clean. I have been in the 'back' where animals are kept -never saw small cages or uncleanliness as an issue. In fact I asked for a smaller cage because my one dog gets nervous in the big cages where they were putting her. We've moved a lot so we've had a lot of vets.....she's not fancy and shiny, she's down to earth and just a normal person who happens to be a vet...no airs with her. And her cost is not as expensive as most vets at all....very surprised to hear this, she's lower because your not paying for marble floors and the latest office furniture -clean and basic....which I love, my dog doesn't need to walk in on a marble floor with inlayed tile from Italy.....decor does not make him better. Oh well, I guess to each his own as the saying goes. We love her. more

Former Employee: NEVER GO TO CAROL YEISLEY 8/29/2011

Coming from a former employee I am tlling you all to NEVER GO TO DR. CAROL YEISLEY at Berks Mobile Veterinar Services. I worked there for a long time and could barely stand to see the animals treated the way they were. Cats and Dogs get locked in tiny cages that are rarely cleaned, never fed properly, neglected completely by the doctor. When the doctor has a surgery scheduled she will sit at her computer playing games online and chatting to friends while your animal is under sedation and waiting to be worked on, which is very dangerous! animals should be let under anesthesia for as little time as possible, not until the doctor finished playing world of warcraft. I can't tell you how many animals I saw die on the sx table that didn't need to. she neglects to call owners when she told them she will and then treats them like idiots when she is forced to talk to them. She will sit on her computer and then tell employees to call her clients and cancel their appointments so she can resume with her game. She charges ridiculous prices for surgery, vaccines, and appointments because most clients go to her one and never return and so she has to charge a lot to make any money whatsoever. She is cruel and mean to her own 30 dogs and 20 cats and she treats clients animals even worse. After working there and trying to make the animals lives better while they're there I have finally had enough and reported her to the Humane Society of Berks County and hopefully they will shut her down before she kills even more countless animals with her neglectful attitude. more

Never Use Her! 5/9/2011

Write me and I will tell all. Until then, know that she can't even follow REGULATIONS!. Look at her Facebook Page and see how she is STILL not listening! Seems she is too stupid to know what the word SEGREGATE means! Carol Lynn Yeisley, license no. BV-007078-L, of Temple, Berks County, was suspended, stayed in favor of probation on the conditions that Yeisley not perform major surgery in her veterinary facility until it is inspected and approved by the Board and that she segregate her practice of veterinary medicine from her work as a wildlife rehabilitator and bird breeder. The Board also imposed a $2,000.00 civil penalty. (8-14-02) more

Berks Mobile Vet killed my puppy 5/17/2010

We took our 9.5 week old puppy to have a simple ear chop. During our initial visit it was very clear that they wanted to make more money off of us by offering unnecessary services. Despite this we left our puppy there for the procedure. The next day late in the after noon we received a phone call that our puppy had died. Now they are refusing to accept any responsibility. Our puppy was very healthy and happy by their own admission when we left her there. Now our family is heartbroken over this unnecessary loss. PLEASE DO NOT USE BERKS VET SERVICES OR CAROL LYNN YEISLEY We do not want any other family to deal with this loss of a beloved pet Cons: They don't know what they are doing more
