Barreto, Nelly, Dds - Perfect Teeth

Can't be happier. Friendly, prompt, courteous, thorough, competent and efficient. From the front dest to the doc just a great and pleasant experience. Who'd of thought I'd say this about going to the dentist. I could go on for days. Can't say enough about the wonderful experience. Was worried because of other review, researched it and it was refuted by PT by documentation. Don't be swayed by the negative. THIS is the place to go for your dental care. more

Dr. Barreto has been my dentist for the past 10 years. When she moved to a different office I followed. She and her staff are some of the most ethical, caring, considerate, appreciative, competent, and capable people I have ever had as a dentist. Not sure what nut the other review has to crack but it definitely isn't a review of the people I have dealt with. Take my word for it, they are the bomb. more

When I got to my appt I showed up about 15 early to fill out paperwork & stood at the desk for about 10 mins before anyone acknowledged me. When they did they told me to sign in then take a seat, no paperwork or anything, just sign in. I sat for about 10 more mins before getting my paperwork, finished it in about 10, and waited for an hour & 1/2 before they even sat me in a dental chair. Once they took me back I waited another 1/2 an hour before a tech or the dr came in talked to me, they asked me what was wrong so I told them that my jaws were swelling and painful and that i'm constantly on pain medication just to eat without pain. So they finally got the dr who came in and had about 20 things she wanted to bill my insurance for BEFORE looking into my mouth. Then she told me that I had to go and get my wisdom teeth pulled that day, never mind the fact that I had just spent 3 hours in her office, and had no one who could come get me from the other office all the way across town. So I explained my concerns to her on doing the surgery that day and she told me something along the lines of, ""well its not my mouth,"" and bickered with me about how I NEEDED to go that day. Finally when I told her I'M NOT going today she laid off of it and brought someone in to schedule my appt, break down what they were billing to my insurance, and collect my copay. IF you choose to go there make sure you look at that because they had padded my claim with all kinds of things they didn't even do. Then when she was trying to schedule me for my surgery she AGAIN tried to get me to go that day and I AGAIN told them I couldn't. I told them the only days I could go are Sun and Mon because those are my days off. They said that wasn't a problem then scheduled me for an appt on a Mon. After I had left, they called me then told me that they would have to reschedule my appt because the dental surgeon wouldn't be there that day, he only works 3 days a week and its something like Tues, Wed, Thurs. The staff is rude and incompetent and Dr. Nelly Barreto, is pushy and gets mad at you when you can't do exactly what she wants. more
