I really enjoy reading all kinds of books. This new Barnes and Noble is amazing. The sales people are a bit swamped yet still mangaged to tend to my needs. I get lost in bookstore...

very good store with a profoundly good staff 6/22/2011

I have been coming to this location for years and Iam always happy. It has a good cafe section with good servers. Brook is the best when it comes to selling me books she always knows where everything is and she is very nice. Iam glad she is still there I always find the right books when I arrive there. I will still continue to support this location, as far as Brooklyn locations go this is the best one. Its better then going to park slope. more

I like to read 8/9/2005

I really enjoy reading all kinds of books. This new Barnes and Noble is amazing. The sales people are a bit swamped yet still mangaged to tend to my needs. I get lost in bookstores so the friendly staff is reassuring. Prices vary but so does everything else in life. PROS: Its a large space CONS: I get lost sometimes more

Browse and read... 7/7/2005

I absolutely love this Barns and Noble. It is nearby my home and I can walk to the store. As with most Barnes and Nobles it is a full service bookstore and it is large. Although I prefer more intimate shops, I still enjoy this Barnes and Noble. As a health writer I visit the store to learn what types of books are being offered to the public. As a reader I find a great selection of books on almost any subject from ardvark to zoology, including philosophy and biography, arts to arts and crafts, fiction and non-fiction. The magazine section is plenteous. The staff is also very helpful. Not only is the store a great place to browse, you'll also find readers simply sitting and reading. The physical plant is clean and neat and without any noticible smells or distraction. Thumbs up for Barnes and Noble. more

The same selection of books without the NYC crowds 6/10/2005

This is a standard barnes and noble bookstore, with full stock of all current and business type books -with the added plus of having a nice cafe on the second level. The sales help is pretty helpful - with occassional attitude when you need some detailed assistance. Overall - it's in a good location if you're in the brooklyn heights neighborhood more
