I took my 4 month old pit Walter to this hospital and signed up for the Wellness plan.I was an hour late for my appt due to flooding in arvin but we were still seen but experience...

I took my 4 month old pit Walter to this hospital and signed up for the Wellness plan.I was an hour late for my appt due to flooding in arvin but we were still seen but experienced staff that were so knowledgable. Whey staff member came in and said hi to Walter even though he was growling at them. The vet we saw was awesome and even game my kids colors and a coloring book....when I got home I Googled banfield and found horrible things written by others and thought are we talking about the same company .....don't put th bruise on everyone ....banfield on Ming is great.....I highly recommended them. ... more

I highly recommend Dr. Beshara at Bakersfield Banfield Pet Hospital.Dr. Beshara exemplifies the qualities of a committed, experienced, knowledgeable, caring, and dedicated Veterinarian. \r He is a results-oriented doctor who truly cares for his patients.\r When other veterinary clinics give up on an older dog, Dr. Beshara is there to offer other medications and recommendations to increase the quality of life and longevity.\r He is thorough with his assessment, diagnosis, treatment plan and explanations.\r In addition, he encourages pet owners (?parents?) to facilitate the promotion of health and wellness for their beloved pets.\r We are very grateful to have such a highly skilled Veterinarian in Bakersfield. more

Dr. Dendy is the BEST! 8/28/2009

He's the best vet doc anyone could ever ask for! He show compassion & he truly loves animals!!!! He was so compassionate towards us when we had to put to sleep two of our dogs, a greyhound & a year later, our cocker spaniel. He does whatever it takes to make your animal well again and lays it on the line and tells it like it is. I highly recommend him as vet of choice! more

They treat you more like a person in here and not just another customer. They are outstanding with your animal. I was surprised to see how caring and genuine these people are all the time. The are great at answering questions over the phone and giving advice for your pets health. more

inside petsmart 6/7/2005

I like this pet hospital because it is located right there inside of petsmart. So if my dog needed shots I could easily shop in the store while they were taking care of that. You can bring your animal here for non emergencies and the prices are really reasonable compared to other animal hospitals. more

The vets and the techs that work in here are all great people who love animals. I rarely take my pet here but occasionally I do for shots and things like that. They are great at getting you in when you need to, it is very convienent to come here, and I wont hesitate going back here when the situation arises. more

Banfield Pet hospital is a convienent place to take your animal when they are sick or when they need vacinations. They treat your animal well and the wait is not very long at all, so they get you in and out of there. Also their prices seem to be similar to other vets so I have no complaints with the prices. more

This is a good place to take your pet for routine checkups or for emergiencies they will take good care of your animal. They are very caring and good at what they do. I have always been happy with what they have done for my pet in here. This is my first choice when taking my animal for vaccinations or any other check up needs. more

Banfield pet hospital 4/28/2005

Banfield pet hospital is in a great location, it is located inside a Petsmart. They have a nice little area at the back of the store. They are great with animals. I have taken my dogs here to get vaccinations here, and the prices have not been bad. The vets are very nice people and will help you with your pet health needs. Plus you can do your other pet shopping while in there since it is located inside of Petsmart it is a very smart and convienent setup. more
