My first encounter with Banfield was when my son and I rescued a dog walking across Tatum Blvd. I did not want the dog put down and I knew that we were unable to take the dog because of the breed of dog we already had. We were shopping and my husband thought to ask if anyone knew of someone who might like to adopt the dog. At that point one of the tech's came out and it turns out she runs a rescue as many of them do that work there. She helped me to find an awesome home for this rescue and has kept me up to date on the dogs progress. I then had a need to bring in one of our cats. I took him there after that experience rather then our regular vet. The doctor we met with was definitely into animals, checked everything, gave us a price for everything before doing anything even though it was our 6 year olds cat so price did not matter and explained everything to us.
