PLEASE do not believe the lies and excuses from Ernie of Avatar Glass. He will take your money and find any excuse in the book as to why he doesn't do the work, or "problems" that have arisen so the work is delayed, so on and so forth. First the lies, then no return phone calls, and meanwhile our hard-earned money is given to someone who just does not produce the work promised. This has to be stopped. Has anyone taken legal action? I think if enough of us on here get together, there will be a stop put to this theft of our money, which is criminal. I don't see how ANYONE can run a business in such a manner. There is no respect or regard for the customer and their finances. This has to stop. Please do not trust this man. more

MY EURO SHOWER GLASS LOOKS AWESOME 5/22/2011

Ernie from Avatar Glass installed shower glass and it looks awesome. He came out to do the measure and said it would take about 4 days to get the glass in to install. It took a little longer than that, but i'm so happy with the way it turned out. I would recommend Avatar Glass to anyone looking for shower glass(my sister is getting one too now). They were very professional, it took about twice as long to install as what they said, but i'm so happy with the way it turned out. Recommend Avatar Glass highly(the price was right too, by the way) more

RECOMMEND AVATAR GLASS 5/22/2011

Excellent service and installation from Avatar Glass I would like to thank Ernie at Avatar Glass for doing such a great job on my window glass. I hired Avatar Glass a couple of weeks ago to replace six different windows in my house. It did take a little longer to get them installed than they thought(five hours), but when all was said and done they look great. What I really liked was how they really paid attention to cleaning as they went, never leaving a mess before replacing the next. They used a dropcloth to cover my carpet (which I really appreciated because we just had new carpet installed) and even even cleaned my glass before they left. Scammer -- Will take your money and run 5/17/2011

This guy took my money for my two windows (almost 800 dollars) and then called in 10 days and asked for more money. I then told him to cancel the order and he said that would not be a problem since they had not been made them yet. That was 4 wks ago and he continues to make excuses. Oh.. That was for the first 3 wks and now he just does not answer his phone or emails. This guy is a wolf in sheeps clothing. Do not use or trust this guy. more

Fraud -- Fraud -- Fraud 5/10/2011

We were required to pay for our glass for our shower doors before it could be ordered. We did and the check was cashed yet when the time came to get it installed the appointment came and went. We called and another appointment was made and again missed. Called and left messages and no phone calls were returned. Always a new promise just to be broken. He stole our $1300.00 shame on you Ernie... more

Warning!! I would never do Business with Avatar Glass Again! 5/8/2011

Last July we hired Avatar Glass to replace one standard size window and one custom size window. We were given a quote and paid half down and half due upon completion. The standard window (glass only) was installed within 2 weeks and went well. The custom window which included an inside grid, was of poor quality and broke upon installation. Ernie said he would have the manufacturer replace it because the grid looked so bad and the glass shoul not have broken. A couple of more weeks went by, a new window was made and delivered. The grids looked a bit better but again it cracked while being installed. Ernie then said that he could not afford to order a new window without getting the rest of the money. I was a complete idiot and trusted him. Now several weeks went by, Ernie delivered a third window and, you guessed it, it cracked upon installation. He then claimed that the frame of the window was crooked and that he had been out to our house more than 3 times and it had cost him a lot of money. We were extremely patient and understanding yet firm with the fact that we hired him to do a job and that job was not done well or to completion. It is not our fault if precise measurements were not initially taken. It has now been several months. We still have a cracked window, have paid him in full, and have been given excuse after excuse. Ernie no longer returns our phone calls. We have referred Avatar Glass to the Better Business Bureau, and are considering filing a claim in small claims court. Needless to say, we would not recommomend Avatar Glass and much like the other review posted here, consider Ernie Larum and Avatar Glass fraudulent. more

!!! AWESOME JOB BY AVATAR GLASS ON MY BATHROOM SHOWER GLASS 4/7/2011

I am writing this review to recommend Avatar Glass to others who are looking to have a glass shower enclosure installed in thier bathroom. I guess the official term is Euro but all that really means is that the shower enclosure is totally frameless. My master bath was totally transformed by Avatar Glass after they did an awesome job on my shower. I have a shower-tub side by side, so I knew it was going to be hard to get this donein a frameless style. So, after having five different companies come out to look at it, ( Two never got back to me, two others had crazy-high prices, and one said they just could'nt do it), a friend of mine said one of her friends had some windows and a big mirror installed by Avatar Glass and that thier prices were reasonable and that they did a really professional job So I called up Avatar Glass, they came out to give an estimate, and the price was $200 lower than the lowest I had. Anyway, four days later, I have the most amazing bathroom ever! I would just like to thank Ernie at Avatar Glass for doing such a wonderful job, and I would like to tell others that if they want a really, really beautiful bathroom, call Avatar Glass! FRAUD! BEWARE! FRAUD! 2/3/2011

Sadly, I have to write this review to warn others away from this fraudulant company. In November I hired Avatar Glass to replace some of my leaky windows in my basement with a 2 week guarantee. I paid a $250 dollar deposit which was cashed within a few days. 2 weeks passed, and Ernie at Avatar and his parter started giving excuses about a delay with shipping, the "delays" continued all the way until January. My leaky windows only got worse during the wet snowy months. In January the story with Avatar changed, now my windows had been misordered and the wrong windows were sent. They said they had to order different window. I was fed up but patient and out my deposit so I gave them a 2 week deadline, and they agreed if not done by then that they would give me a full refund(the least they could do).. The 2 weeks came and went and they started avoiding my calls. Another month went past, and I decided to do reviews here online. The reviews were the same as I have stated currently. They then started calling begged me to remove the reviews and promised my refund. I wanted to believe them so I took down the reviews.. but another 3 weeks passed and now it has been 5 months, with nothing but excuses and lies. THIS COMPANY IS FRAUD!! The address listed is not there own, there is no way to meet them in person, and they will take your deposit and run!!!! Do NOT trust them. BEWARE!!! FRAUD!!! more

BEAUTIFUL EURO SHOWER DOOR 1/28/2011

Thank you to Avatar Glass for an excellent job on my euro shower door. These guys were on time and not only fast, but the thing i'm writing this for the most is the price. I had 3 different bids, and Avatar Glass came up about $200 less than the rest. I know the cheapest is not always best, but in this case, it was. Again, thanks to Avatar Glass, I recommend them highly. more

They do excellent work on Euro shower doors... 1/20/2011

So I had family coming in from out of town, and desperately needed to get my remodeled bathroom completed, the only thing left: my shower enclosure. Anyway, I called these guys and they came right out and did ameasure and gave me a quote. The amazing part of the wole deal was the speed, I only had to wait 3 days for it to be installed, and the work was done with professional exactness. The price was right, too(I would have paid a little more even). So by time my family arrived, we had 2 complete bathrooms for 10 people thanks to Avatar Glass. For Euro shower doors, I couldnt find any one faster or cheaper, I reccomend them highly more

Do Not Trust 12/19/2010

Do not trust them. Ernie was the person's name I have dealth with and he collected the deposit for the work that need to be done and then disappeared. He avoided my phone calls and when i got hold of him, he made a excuse that he left me messages but non of it was true. He still has my $300 depost from 3 months ago and keeps making excuses as to when to return it. Again, be very very careful if you decided to work with him, or find yoursefl someone by far more proffessional and honest than this guy... more

Great service from Avatar Glass 9/8/2010

Anyone interested in new windows for thier home should call these guys. I got all 18 windows replaced in 2 days, and their prices cant be beat( That I could find) I also had the broken glass in my patio doors replaced, and they did the solar-cool reflective tinting for my east facing windows as well. Great job! more
