I'm on a pretty strict budget so I checked this lot out because they have some amazing prices. I was absolutely blown away by the level of service I received! The staff here are amazing. I will definitely tell everyone I know to check them out, and whenever I am ready for another car I will be back! more

O NOT BUY A CAR HERE....We showed up at this car lot looking for something reliable to get my husband back and forth from work and picking up the kids. We went in and said we want something reliable, thats it, it doesn't have to be pretty or fancy or any of that just cheap and reliable. The guy said he had the perfect car that ran really well and was an awsome price..... we bought this car only to find out that it is a big piece of @#$%. Now my kids have to ride in this unsafe car until we can afford to buy another one......so i guess you can go and buy a car here if you don't mind being taken advantage of, or being lied to, or hanging out with people that could obviously care less about you. Your safety or anything else that does not involve money does not matter to these people and if I were you I would go somewhere else. I did not listen to the negative reviews, but hopefully you will. I highly recommend you drive by and put the pedal to the medal! What turned out as an above average visit of a used car dealership ended with us being verbally abused by a less-than professional dealership manager. We went in search of a used 7-series BMW for my husband. We have been looking for a couple of weeks and have yet to find the one that has the price and condition we are looking for. Austin's Affordable Autos had a listing on http://Craigslist.com for such a vehicle. We met with a friendly used car salesman who showed us two vehicles and my husband test drove the one he liked the most. We let the salesman know we were looking around the area (Portland, OR) for the right care. Upon the return from the test drive we were informed by the salesman who just leaned from the manager that this car already had a deposit on it. As we were not ready to spring that moment to buy the vehicle the salesman told us if we give him our info he would contact us if they found another one. We walked inside to fill out the forms when the manager let us know that although there was a deposit on the vehicle he would pawn those people off on another vehicle and let us have this one. We were discussing our options when the managed exploded and said, "Oh, I thought you were here to buy a car, not just to play around!" We were utterly shocked by his outburst and finished filling out our info for the salesman. I offered that if the person with the deposit did not come through that he should call us. The rabid manager again yelled at us saying, "Its SOLD! You cannot have it!" At this point we collected our small children, the salesman who was helpful didn't even tell us goodbye and we headed back to our car. Do yourself a favor. Take your money elsewhere. If they treat you like this when you have cash in hand to buy a vehicle, just imagine if you wanted to look around and not purchase the first car you touch! AWFUL, AWFUL, AWFUL Experience! more

we had some debt issues and like other people out there saw a good ad and talked to a friendly car dealer named RAY. We arrived and looked at a few cars saw there "mechanics" and ended up taking a honda accord 1997 for a spin and bought the car at $2, 995. We paid a down payment of $700.00 down, we also promised to pay AUSTINS AFFORDABLE AUTOS IN VANCOUVER WA. another $1, 000 within a month which wasn't a problem we needed a car and we both have god jobs. They were so friendly and told us that if the car broke down or anything happened to personally come see "RAY" and he would take care of it. No questions asked. We signed away on good faith that what RAY and the head manager had promised and said about the car was true. First mistake AUSTINS AFFORDABLE AUTOS OUR SCAMMERS LIARS AND CHEATS. THERE EMPLOYEES AND MANAGEMENT took advantage of a first time buyer. We were told that a branded title meant someone had lost the title at one point. AUSTINS AFFORDABLE AUTOS LIED, IMAGINE THAT? SOUNDS LIKE FRAUD TO ME. Then came the AS IS CONTRACT not knowing what that mean, AUSTINS AFFORDABLE AUTOS IN VANCOUVER EXPLAINED IT TO US. It means we understand that the car has had some previous damage to the body. I said oh that's all it means? AND THE HEAD MANAGER ROBERT OF AUSTINS AFFORDABLE AUTOS IN VANCOUVER LIED AGAIN IMAGINE THAT... After we signed the contract and were headed out the door the head manager OF AUSTINS AFFORDABLE AUTOS IN VANCOUVER said if it explodes on the way home roast a hot dog to get some of your money out of it. Thinking it was a joke, I smirked it off. We had to get home, my husband had to be at work so we got on the freeway and about 35 minutes later it starts to steam out of the AC vents. We immediately went home parked it, took my husband to work, and called AUSTINS AFFORDABLE AUTOS IN VANCOUVER AND IMAGINE THAT ROBERT AND RAY ARE NO WHERE TO BE FOUND. Good: They were nice to start with. Bad: I bought a car on 9-4 from Austins Affordable Autos for 5103.75. I put 2500 down and was to pay 2603.75 on the 9-18. My father passed away a few months ago and I had to pay for his probate attorney, so I could not pay the second payment on time. 9-20 I called and spoke with Darrell and Michelle they say they would help and to come in. I did they agreed to put me on a 4 month contract at 32% interest yes it is high but I did not have any problem with it because I knew I would pay if off within a month or two. Improvements: Shut down, change owner. Other: Go somewhere else. more
