Pricey vintage threads 9/9/2005

The price tags on the clothing in Atlas may seem a bit high for used clothing, but they have one of the best selections in town for hipster-types. The cothing finds are carefully selected and thoughtfully organized by type and color. It makes the vintage experience much more pleasant for those of us who don't enjoy picking through random stacks at the Goodwill. They also have new merchandise from emerging designers in the front of the store that is worth a look. more

Atlas Clothing 8/19/2005

You can buy and sell clothes here. I’ve never really had any success at either here. You can only sell clothes on certain days. The selection is sometimes not so good, and their new clothes seem really expensive. As with other used stores, if you dig deep enough you’ll find something good and pay a decent price for it. more

Capitol Hill used vintage clothing 7/27/2005

I pass by Atlas on my walk to and from work every day, and more often than not I get pulled in...just to see what unique vintage finds I might uncover. I'm not real taken the selection they put outside each day, but that doesn't stop me from venturing inside the store to browse around...great used jeans and vintage shirts from the 70s and 80s abound! Definitely check out Atlas if you haven't yet....even if you don't find something vintage you like, it's a lot of fun just taking a walk through the past. more
