When my doctor recommended Atlanta Spine & Sport to me, i was expecting the same treatment that i usually received from chiropractors...the roller table, some electrical devices hooked up to me and the traditional 1-2-3 in and out service. To my pleasant surprise, Dr. Bongi was not like all the others I had been to. From start to finish, his evaluation, examination and treatment was unlike anything I had ever experienced in a chiropractors office. His protocol should be how all other chiropractors practice. I have low back, knee and foot pain for over 8 months while training for the Iron man competition. I started feeling that I would not be able to compete due to my pain and discomfort. The pain was getting so unbearable I was having extreme difficulty to complete simple house hold chores. My trainer and husband were telling me to have my issues checked out. I decided to do some research and I found Dr. Jason Bongi with Atlanta Spine and Sport. I made an appointment and I can honestly say my road to recovery was on it's way. He was able to explain where and why I was having pain, how to make it go away. Expecting no quick fix, I was prepared to put in the time necessary for proper healing and to write off my hopes for competing in the Ironman. To my surprise, after his first treatment, I was feeling about 80% better. He was able to reduce my pain at every level from biking to running to even my house work. Now that I'm not distracted by my pain, I was able to look around his office and see that he has worked with professional hockey players, bodybuilders all other types of amateur and professional athletes. I new then that I had found my missing link to my training regimen. I'm now at 100% again and completely pain free. My trainer and I are very pleased with my recovery and my added performance. I brought my highschool daughter to see Dr. Bongi for issues she's had with her back, knees and feet from playing volleyball. He explained where her problems are are how he was going to correct them. I went in for a pain i've had in my back and knee for the last 3-4 weeks. It was not getting better and I had trouble doing everyday stuff without it killing me. My husband and I were recommended to Atlanta Spine & Sport by friends of ours. We are very active in my tennis and golf leagues. Both of our children play sports as well.
