I have been renting from Apex Ventures for three years going on four years. They are by far one of the best reality companies I have ever rented from. Jim & Ethan Hodge are very polite, professional and courteous. When we have maintenance issues they are always fixed in a timely manner and the staff is very professional. While living in our home we have only had two issues in which we have had to call maintenance request in. One was the heating & air unit going out and the other was floor work in the bathroom. Both times the staff was polite, professional and explained what they were doing. Also I wanted to add that when the may flood happened in 2010 our basement flooded and they came right out and fixed the problem. Shortly after we reported the damage they sent someone out who sealed the basement and cleaned up the water. I did not think of this as routine maintenance so I did not add them above. Jim & Ethan Hodge are two very straight forward guys who care about their properties. I have found if we talk to them and explain to them issues we have they will work with us. Here is an example of the professionalism we have dealt with while renting from Apex ventures. On the fourth of this month my wife had back surgery and we forgot to pay rent until the sixth. My wife had called Jim previously and explained she was having surgery just in case we were late with rent. Our rent is due by midnight on the fifth of the month or late charges are added. Jim called later in the day to say he received our rent check and not to worry about the late charges. He also politely reminded me that rent is due by midnight on the fifth. We are not normally late paying our rent so it really wasn’t a big deal. I think the key to renting form Apex Ventures is the same as with any other business. If you treat them right and with respect they are sure to treat you the same. I have never had a problem when dealing with anyone from their office and look forward to many more years working with them. more
