Editorial review from Citysearch 10/23/2012

Dr. Jill, who is the new vet and new owner of the clinic, is really outstanding and has provided my dogs with excellent care. She helped my pets when other vets were clueless about what was wrong. I think she took over this clinic in Dec. 2011. I followed her there from another clinic she was at because of the great care she gave my dogs. Before she took over the clinic, I will say the clinic's bad reputation was justified based on my bad experience there. But the old vets and previous owner has been replaced by Dr. Jill, whose expert, excellent care has made this a top clinic and is why I've followed her there. more

Editorial review from Citysearch 7/23/2012

I must say that the previous reviews on this site (prior to 2012) are definitely prior to the recent change in management, and the arrival of Dr. Jill Ulofsky at Animal Care Clinic. Dr. Jill has been seeing my pets since prior to her arrival at ACC. In fact I changed my pet's vet when I found she moved to ACC. Jill is by far the most compassionate and caring vet I have ever been to. She took personal interest and helped me and my family through a tragic bout of cancerous tumors with my dog Tobin. When we got another dog (a hard enough feat to follow the ""greatest dog in the world""), Jill and her staff at Animal Care Clinic remembered me (a year later) and welcomed us (and our new dog Bentley) with open arms. I found all of the staff at ACC to be exceptional throughout the visit. And as for Dr. Jill, I just can't say enough. Her knowledge of animals and understanding of their issues, coupled with her genuine concern for you and your pet are why I won't go anywhere else. Thanks again Jill. You've really helped us through some difficult situations with your apparent love of animals, including the two-legged kind :-). more

Not going back! 8/9/2011

What happened to animal care? Are most of the vets here in Round Rock money hungry? This place had afforable pricing for heartworm preventative and for flea prevention. Didn't get my pet spayed at this place because I wasn't to fond about paying over $300.00. Other pet was diagnosis with thyroid and was told she will be lathargic and see considerable amount of weight gain if not put on medication ASAP. Today, pet is FINE and have not seen anything different. I feel like my pet was misdiagnosis. Will not be telling my family and friends about this place that's for certain! more

WORST customer service of all VETs in Austin and Round Rock! 9/8/2010

BEWARE!!! It is Anya's personal mission to destroy this clinic one customer at a time. I have been going to this vet for years and I have never been treated as horribly as when I have to deal with Anya. First of all, her only job is to answer the phone and book appointments, but she is completely incompetent to do that. If you book an appt for a Wednesday, it's your best guess what Wednesday she has you down for. Really it's all about what Anya wants and not about what the customer requests. I don't think even she knows bc her head is so far up her butt. Maybe she is also illiterate and that's why she gets all these simple things so badly mixed up? And then to top it all off, she has the audacity to be rude to you when you show up for the appt you booked, that she incorrectly took down! While Anya is by far the absolute worst, there are other front counter people that suck almost as bad. It is apparent that the Dr there, Meyers, doesn't care at all how his long time customers are treated. Nobody over there knows anything about customer service. I actually think they don't want customers, it is clear Anya doesn't bc she has committed herself to running them off one by one. It is really a shame, this place was once, before the previous Dr's death, a nice place to take my animals. Now all I get is hung up on, literally, by the receptionist Anya. BEWARE!!! more

GREAT VET OFFICE 9/16/2009

I would highly recommend taking your pet to them, They do not suprise you with shots or costs that your pet does not really need and the vet there really has a way with dogs. I WOULD RECOMMEND Pros: Excellent doctors more

Groomer Jessica is not Honest. 7/21/2009

Beware of Jessica Moore, the groomer. Im sorry, I hate to say that, but how are you going to sedate my pet for a simple grooming, and not let ME (the owner) know about that?? The girl who checked me out that day, --happened to mention he was sedated for the grooming, and since my pet has been getting groomed with Jessica for the past year has been getting sedated for Grooming!!! --I was like excuse me??==whaat?..Mind you, I do not have a pitbull, he's a small dog. I had asked to speak with Jessica, but she was not there, and called back twice for her the next day and was not available. All I can say, is that says alot about her character and BEWARE to all you pet lovers out there!!!!! Pros: Location Cons: Sedated my pet without my knowledge more
