My impression of the store was akin to finding little treasures in ever nook and corner. The Amish seem to have perfected the concept of comfortable beautiful furniture.
However one treasure stands apart and above all others and that is their syrup. This is a light amber maple syrup, which will delight the palate in new and exciting ways. When you fist taste it you may not think it is maple syrup, but you will instantly realize its purity and its high note appeal. If that is not enough to make you beg for more pour some into a glass of fresh whole milk, then you will be hooked for life. This may not be considered such a highly regarded prize by some; however I am a chef and when I find gourmet quality foods of this caliber it is like finding gold in my back yard.
This is an AAA gourmet food, rare yet not so expensive. To note, you cannot buy ?triple A? rated foods in a grocery store, we in the restaurant business take it all.
