Our move from San Francisco to Chicago was extremely well organized and a joy in every way. Our movers, Mike, Gerald, and Henry were excellent movers that treated our home and belongings with caution and mindfulness. These particular individuals stood out because their willingness to help was so apparent. The men seemed to always be in a great mood and somehow they managed to stay focus and orchestrated a quick and well organized move. I was recently laid off from my job and had to move out of my home in San Francisco and move into my brother’s place in Tampa, FL. I was a little strapped for cash so I figured the cost of renting moving equipment and a truck it was out of my budget. My brother suggested that I call American Van Lines for a quote but I always though professional movers where more expensive than moving on your own. Kenny, the representative that I spoke with was able to offer me a rate that was even more affordable than combined cost of moving myself. The movers that came to my house were very professional and a lot nicer than any movers I ever dealt with. They packaged my stuff in a short amount of time and didn’t damage anything in the process. My biggest concern was how I was going to get all of my stuff to Florida at a good price so I am glad I was able to find American van lines when I did. more

On my move from San Francisco, CA to Dallas, TX, I decided to hire your company after speaking to nationwide relocation services. Your guys (Mike, Tyrone, and Gustavo) came out and packed, transported, and unloaded everything for me on August 11, 2010. Being the manager for several locations of a company, I am used to the fact that customers generally tend to take the time to give feedback on any tiny negative experience, but often fail to call with feedback on the positive. Hence, I wanted to take a moment to let you know how awesome my experience with American Van Lines was!! Moving is such a stressful event, trying to coordinate the move, and taking enough time off work to get things done is challenging. Had it not been for your tremendously hardworking, happy, positive, dedicated, and otherwise terrific crew … my first night in a new house would not have been near as much of a relief. They showed up bright and early, with smiles on their faces, and kept them all day. It took them until late afternoon to pack up my house and load it into the truck; however, I never heard one complaint, one excuse, or even one word of anything other than positivity. They were genuine guys and had great manners; they were a joy to work with. They worked until 9 pm, unloading furniture, carrying it up 2 flights of stairs, and setting it in place – all without a complaint. They were careful attentive and treated my belongings with care. I was so impressed with both all they did and the attitudes that they did it with. Thanks so much to them for making my move so much easier than it would have been with anyone else. I will happily recommend you to anyone who ever needs help moving!!! more
