Rude - Expensive - Poor Job Washing Car 3/15/2011

The folks at Allston Car Wash are rude and do an awful job washing cars. After my car was run through the wash it had brown dirt dripping off my car and the interior was not completely vacuumed. I asked the people that dried the car to finish cleaning it and they refused - I'm assuming since they didn't speak English. I brought it around to the front and was scolded at by the manager for pulling it in to be rewashed. Definitely not satisfied. more

Great work 9/10/2005

This is a top-quality repair shop with nice service and good pricing. the staff is very very friendly. The cost is outlined beforehand. We will definitely go back again. The staff is very helpful. The service is efficient. The price is reasonable. The location is very convenient for everybody. They are expert in car washing and car detailing. more

Best Car Wash Ever 9/2/2005

The Allston Car Wash does a superb job of washing cars. There is a reason that they have a long line of cars on the first nice spring day after a long winter. They have a wide range of services from a simple car wash to completely detailing your car. You can watch your car be washed through the giant windows as it goes through the car wash. Your car is carefully dried off after the car wash by the contientous staff. more

Excellent Service, a bit expensive 7/20/2005

Allston Car Wash is just like it says, 'a spa for your cah,' it does cost around 20 buck to get a good wash though. While you can go to 'do it yourself places' and pay very little (around 4 or 5 dollars) it will not do nearly as much for your car. I think their best deal is 'the works' which includes an exterior wash, a foam protectant, a clear coat sealer, and undercarriage wash, a rust inhibitor, wheel brightner and air freshener. They have a deal going on right now so this only costs 21 dollars, but your car will look shiny and new. It's a good thing to do every other month or so. more

Nice work if you can get in 7/11/2005

If you're patient - or if you can get there on a weekday - this is the place to get your car washed. The price is right and the job is always done well. But the line gets INSANE on the weekends. On a Saturday at noon, you're looking at a 45 minute wait. It actually causes a lot of traffic on Cambridge Street. They offer a rain check (I think it's 24 hours) so if you get your car washed and it rains you can get it done again for free. They also have reduced gift certificates a club so you can get a free wash every few times you go. PROS: Good price, good offers, great wash CONS: Gets really, really crowded and ties up traffic more
