He is Board Certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. A graduate of the University of Texas at El Paso, Dr. Humphrey received his M.D. from the University of Texas Medical School in Galveston. He completed his internship at Maricopa County Hospital in Phoenix, Arizona. After his internship, he served in the U.S. Army as a general Medical Officer from 1969 to 1972.
