I love Al Lasher's, it's full of weird electronic stuff and obscure bits and pieces. And the guys there know what to do with things that Radio Shack people wouldn't know if it bit them on the butt! It's odd and quirky and wonderful and they are nice to clueless techno-newbies as well as experts. I worry that we'll lose this store soon. more

The electronics there are a bit expensive for me, but I do appreciate the staff their willing to show people cheaper ones of the same item, since they have so many gadgets to choose from! The people are very friendly and helpful, and they will not hesitate to help you if you seem to be confused or looking for something. more

Al Lasher's Electronics 8/14/2005

Al Lasher's Electronics is a shop that sells specialty electronics. If you're looking for individual computer components or security equipment (like alarms) and you live in the area, this is a nice place to go. I visited this place a few times when I wanted to purchase a couple solid-state relays for a class project; I was looking for a place nearby that carried these devices. A great store and the people are very friendly and helpful; they helped me pick out exactly which relays to get without having to purchase the most expensive ones. more

Everything for the electronics enthusiast as reasonable prices 8/6/2005

Al Lashers electronics located on University Avenue just a few blocks from MLK is probabaly the best place to get stuff for the electronics enthusiast. They beat the local Radio Shacks by a long way. They have a huge inventory and the staff is extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Their prices are most reasonable. more
