I've been to many restaurants of all sizes, but have never felt so welcome. The first time I visited was only my 3rd time eating sushi, and I was visiting with my Vegan date. They made vegan food, and we were asked at every dish if it was tasty and if we were satisfied. (we were)\r \r Now I visit frequently for 'normal' sushi, and I have yet to be anything less than thrilled with each dish. I have a food allergy, and they are GREAT with substitutions, and keep it tasty too! \r \r They have added Karaoke for quiet times (hopefully for the more busy nights also, but I love that it's not 'needed' to create a fun night), and the hostesses and chefs are SO friendly! \r \r I would say ""I recommend this restaurant to everyone!"" but honestly, NO! I don't want to give up my sweet haven of yummy food and friendly employees!! :) Pros: Friendly atmosphere is GREAT for new sushi tasters, and great food will encourage them! Cons: um.... more

This place is great with a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. I'm always meeting nice people at the Sushi bar. This is some of the best Sushi that I've ever eaten. And I've eaten at the Blue Fin in Time Square. I often stop by for ""to go"" meals as well. Try it once and you will be hooked. I love sushi and I?ve tried numerous places around the valley but Samurai is by far my favorite. It?s affordable, delicious and the service is quick and friendly. I have snobby friends who won?t even give Samurai a chance because it?s not hip or trendy. Whatever! The sushi rolls are delicious, creative and affordable. Dishes are served in a private, quiet atmosphere. Great place to relax and enjoy the company of friends. more
