I injured my back and was unable to stand, sit, bend, walk, or even turn my head. A trip to a local ER and two shots in the fanny failed to provide any relief. An MRI revealed a ""splattered"" disc and I was told to schedule an appointment with a neurosurgeon. I asked about therapy and the ER told me the disc was beyond therapy. Luckily, the surgeon told me he'd seen worse and I should at least try physical therapy before he'd cut. My wife called our niece who knew a couple PTs and she suggested I call Ehren Trost at Activecare. Needless to say, she's now my favorite niece. Ehren saw me the same day I called. After reviewing my MRI and performing an evaluation he said he thought he could help me and took immediate steps to ease the pain I was in. After spending about 90 minutes with him, I was amazed how much better I felt. He warned me that it was temporary and my full recovery would take some time. I went through three months worth of therapy (a couple visits a week) and performed the assigned exercises at home. I deemed myself cured in the middle of December, 2013. It's been four months now and even after a worse than normal Erie winter I feel great. I'm brand new and best of all, NO SURGERY. If I feel a little stiffness coming on I do the exercises Ehren showed me and it gets me on the right track. \r
To sum up how I feel about Activecare, I carry their business cards with me so I can refer them to anyone I meet that complains about back pain. They are the absolute best.\r
