Vlada, the owner, cut my hair. She looks great, very put together, and was able to give me good advice on styling my hair and picking some accessories. She took a lot of time with me, washed my hair - twice. Then cut it carefully with a lot of attention to detail. The result - perfect. I looked a lot better than I have in a long time. Pros: Good advice, careful work, I looked good. Cons: takes more time than I was used to more

There are new owners at the Standard Salon so I don't think the previous review is accurate. Great stylists at this place. They make you feel very comfortable and offer good style advice. I am always happy with the results. Pros: Talented stylists, great service. more

I had a hair appointment at the standard salon, with a stylist by the name of ashley. I came in there thinking that i was going to get my hair dyed blonde at the top with some dark brown at the bottom. Not only did i not recieve what i wanted, she completly ruined/ damaged my hair, cut it horribly and tried to charge me $130 for the whole thing. I ended up paying $80. Then about a month later i come back so she can ""finish"" what she had done, and all she does is completly color over everything dark brown! Which was how i had my hair from the begining! She had told me a month earlier that when i would come back it would only be $30 and that she would make the top blonde how i wanted, which she didn't. I ended up having to pay the $30 and she wanted me to pay that extra $50 from last time! I didn't think it was fair for her to charge me for a service that was not what i wanted. DO NOT GO TO THE STANDARD SALON!! LET ALONE, DO NOT HAVE ASHLEY LAGRASSSO DO YOUR HAIR!!! Pros: They give you soda to drink. Cons: You can never find parking. They overcharge you for services that the girls dont even do a good job of. more
