9s Style

My 9s Style consult was amazing. I started the three hours with too many clothes I was sure were out of style or I did not know how to wear and, in my mind, only about 10 outfits for work. At the end of the three hours, I had a picture catalog (taken onsite!) of almost 50 ""new"" outfits from everything I already owned! The best part--each outfit included my existing accessories and shoes and did not cost me a penny over the consultation fee. I would strongly recommend 9s Style to all my friends and anyone who is exasperated with her wardrobe. I met 2 of the 9?s Style partners at October Market at St. Thomas Aquinas. I immediately recognized that this concept was ready for prime time in my life. I wanted to have a simple wardrobe that could work for varied kinds of events and purposes. I would find pieces that I knew looked great in the store. But when I would get them home they would enjoy a serene retirement of non-wear in my closet. You know the 80/20 principal. 80% of the time I wore 20% of my clothes. \r \r When I had the great girls from 9?s Style come in, it was nothing short of amazing. They put together 33 outfits (none of which I had ever thought of before). They used the jewelry and accessories I had and it was just the best investment I have ever made. In the US we have been conditioned to believe that we need ?more? things. More isn?t what makes a wardrobe. We need ?smarter?. I have photos of every outfit. The best thing is, they literally took the clothes that didn?t work for me with them to donate to the Family Place. \r \r They helped me put together some looks for things like the company Christmas party with what I had. What a concept! Because I am sort of a minimalist I wanted to see how many pieces it took to make 33 outfits?only 32 pieces. They suggested I get 2 other items (which I quickly found at Revente) and shorten a dress, take out shoulder pads on 2 jackets. This has literally changed my life. \r \r I think this is really great no matter what your age. I am 60 and I know I don?t have to be spending money on clothes, especially with the economic problems facing the country. This has been worth every penny to me. \r \r more

I found these girls by chance and am so glad I did. I was ready to go shopping for the new winter season, not having a clue on where to start with so many trends coming back around but who knows what is really cool or just stupid. Not me. These ladies came into my closet and showed me I actually had some great things already, they just needed to be rearranged a bit. They put together almost 40 new outfits for me for going out as well as work clothes. All I need to do now is go buy a few key accessories to spice them up and I'm good to go for the season! They showed me all the new looks including layering, jewelry, tights with big sweaters, short boots with tights and skirts, etc.. These ladies are professional, friendly, non-judgemental (I was nervous at first to have them come in and see how out of style I felt I was), very stylish themselves and most important of all, empowering! They shared tips, tricks, trade secrets and valuable insight into the mystery of fashion which then gave me the confidence to make my own decisions when it came to shopping. Best shopping in Dallas!! and least expensive! For the cost of an outfit at your favorite boutique, you can have 30+ new ones! They also have a blog which gives tips and tricks for the smart, savvy shopper. I was that person who had a closet full of clothes but couldn't find a thing to wear or always ended up wearing the same basic look over and over. These ladies changed that and I want to thank them! I will recommend this exceptional non-shopping experience to anyone who is thinking they have nothing cute going into this new season. I always look forward to reading their fashion tips! They help me figure out what I need to buy for the upcoming season or what I need to give to charity. They help me step out of the bubble and try things that i normal wouldnt or wouldnt even think of putting together. I absolutely love 9's Style and the idea behind it. I never miss out on reading the blog and keeping updated on all their new fashion ideas and tips. They always help me figure out whether my outfits are stylish, or whether they may need some work before a night out on the town. So I attended 9's style fashion show last month that kicked off their new business and I have to say these ladies are genius! Thier personal stylist will come into your closet and put together outfits for you that you didn't even know you had. They are more than just your typical ""personal shopper"" because they utilize clothes that you already own instead of having you spend a fortune on new stuff. They take pictures and put the looks into a book for you so you don't forget!\r \r Also I think this would be a great present for your husband or boyfriend. Every guy we know has those few shirts they rocked out in college but should've retired years ago! Well now you can have an expert tell them to throw it out instead of just you! ha!
