Good Food, Good Fun 11/21/2002

I've been here twice in a period of 6 months & have been satisfied both times; first time was take-out only (excellent service!), recently I ate in-house. My waiter was a real darling & took good care of me. The steak was thick and juicy, the baked potato firm and tasty. The pina coladas weren't bad, either! And the coffee was pretty good quality; of all places to get strong coffee, I picked a steakhouse! This place may be one of a chain, but provides value for money and good food! Pros: large portions, friendly service, fast take-out area Cons: dim lighting, crowded parking lot, line to get in! more

I don't know why this place even makes the list. The steak and other menu items are terrible. How many times do you have to send it back to the kitchen before it becomes a steak? I sent mine back twice and it was still cold in the middle. If you like raw hunks of meat, then I guess this is the place to go, but if you enjoy a medium rare or better steak, then go to Timberlodge!l Cons: Expensive, Horrible Food, Rude Servers more
