Middle Collegiate Church

this is more than just the best of the best churches.i grew up in church(we called it cherch,that's how stuffy and unflexiable the teachings were)but at middle you feel welcomed as you climb the stairs to go in.jackie and brad with adriene and seku are the best ministers you could ask for.the peolple are Great.after going only a few times meaning less than three my wife and i knew this is where we wanted to call home.after sunday service they have this brunch that allows everyone to come together and get to know each other.not to mention they encourage us to congregate on our own time.my wife and i have made some very lasting friendships and we extend an invite to anyone reading this who is looking for a church that isn't like any other.Trust i know i've tried quite a few.Be Blessed,and Be Good to Each Other. This is a great church. Filled with people from all walks -- gay, straight, black, white, hispanic and asian -- it really is what makes New York special.\r \r I don't really pay attention to the denomination thing and I don't think they do either. It is a fairly traditional protestant church (with choirs, semons and a great old church setting) but very progressive in what it teaches.\r \r I was kinda worried about going in there and having them do the church thing on me, but found them to be very accepting and friendly without overbearing. The pastors are great and can really preach!\r \r They also have a great gospel choir that sings sometimes and is really worth going to see. \r \r I would check them out -- especially if you are looking to get kinda spriritual or have been in the past, but have been afraid to get involved because you are not the church kind. There are a lot of those people in the congregation. Pros: great preaching, welcoming, great singing Cons: kinda none more
