This place is fantastic. I did a lot of research prior to choosing them for my first tat. I even went to check out the shop my best friend gets her pieces done, and THANK GOD I didn't get mine done there. I stuck with my gut & drove the 2 hours to Chicago Tattoo Co after making a next day appointment by phone. Fred did mine, and let me tell you, I'll be going to him for all of my future tats as well. Not only was everyone in the shop nice & helpful as could be, but Fred also took the time before inking me to explain their sterilization process and whatnot. They were EXTREMELY fair with pricing and the shop was immaculate. It's been about 2 weeks since I got my tattoo done, and it has healed beautifully and looks wonderful. I've gotten so many compliments on how crisp and well done it is. Even my boyfriend, who normally gets all his ink done by a close friend, wants to go get his next one done with Fred. Give them a shot, you won't regret it!
