This is a great place to bring the kids for a day full of fun and learning. Best of all is the price! I can't believe they offer something like this in the area. I was so amazed at all the items they have to offer for the children. Adults will have a blast too! We go here at least once a month because we love it so much. A great place to bring the play group or meet other kids and parents in the area. I recommend this to anyone with children!

Maple Woods Community College is located on barry road, just off of 152 highway. This community college is not very big, but has a nice, well kept campus, and pretty good teachers. The cost is cheap, but you always have to wait a long time in the offices to get any questions answered, because they dont' have much staff. The bookstore is always really busy too, so get your books eariler in the school year!

A jesuit university, there is a campus chapell, and plenty of priest on hand! A lot of students like to major in the theology department. Not a cheap school, but you get your moneys worth!

You truly don't know it's there but once you find it, you will be thrilled. It is well maintained and operated. Although it is located on a busy street, once you enter, you feel like you are in a retreat!! There are numerous restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance. I have taken several classes at UMKC and have been pleased with most of them. As with any university, I have had some excellent instructors and some poor instructors. Their enrollment process is quick and easy and they offer a wide variety of classes. I enjoyed the wide variety of students in my classes. Diverse backgrounds make for much more interesting learning!

I went to DeVry Institute of Technology in Kansas City between 1986-1988. This was before they became "DeVry University". I completed the ET program and finished with an A.S. in Electronics. At that time they were very attentive to help with housing for their students. They had a number of area apartments where they arranged for 4 of us to share a 2 bedroom (furnished) apartment. I don't know if they still do this. I enjoyed the classes and the instructors then. Again, I don't know how many of my instructors are still there, if any. If DeVry has maintained what they used to do, then it is a great place to get your education.
