For the savvy shopper this can be a place to find good older hardware that is not unavailable at other stores. If you are not as savvy be carefull, they charge premium prices for the more popular stuff. Customer service is lacking due to the poor attitude of the sales people unfortunately.

Great stuff for the whole house, garden, office or any other space you occupy. The often have a 1/2 off sale going and always have stuff on clearance. Check there website for the weekly ad, and a coupon of the week for 1/2 off of a kids projects, toy, model rocket, etc, something different every week.

Service was performed quickly and the repair was fine.
Shop is nice and clean, employees are pleasant but a little smirky. They will try to pad the bill with add ons, and they cannot justify the labor times that they use. I am in the auto repair industry and have access to the labor guide times, and they charge more than the recommended times, but its been my experience that almost every mechanic does even when you call them on it.

Shop is nice and clean, employees are pleasant but a little smirky. They will try to pad the bill with add ons, and they cannot justify the labor times that they use. I am in the auto repair industry and have access to the labor guide times, and they charge more than the recommended times, but its been my experience that almost every mechanic does even when you call them on it.

Jiffy lube often has coupons and early bird specials that make the basic oil change service a good value. They also wipe down your windows and go over your carpet with a vacume. But keep in mind they make there money doing service work, NOT cheap oil changes, thats just to get customers in the door. It starts with them ripping out your air cleaner before they even put oil in your car so they can show you how terrible it is. I have a new car and they did this at 4,000 miles. My air cleaner was nearly new still. Watch for the attempts to add on air cleaners, extra fluids, and especially the transmission service sales pitch. If you know what you really need and what you dont than you can get a good deal.

I used a coupon to get an all over paint job for just a few hundred dollars.
I did the prep work as I used to do this for a living, and its only a little elbow grease and time, no special tools or skills.
The painting requires special tools and handling hazerdous materials and is worth it to pay someone else.
They do very little other than tape off the vital parts of your car and spray paint on it. Dont expect a factory, or custom quality job, and dont expect it to look good for more than 3-4 years.
But as long as you know what to expect, and what you are getting, Maaco is a good value for the money.
