I think this was one of the earliest Walgreens stores in Tucson, just the downtown store was here before and was one of the first 1000 stores nationally. There is no drive through pharmacy and it is not a stand alone store, instead being integrated into the shopping center. Being right across the street from St. Mary's Hospital, the pharmacy gets a lot of business due to the location and I've thought they ought to make it a 24 hour store to capitalize on the close access. I knew the older pharmacist Peter V pretty well until he died. The staff up until that point was great, but I haven't been back lately.
