Unfortunately, apartment living is only as good as the property management that runs it. This place has a great location BUT that is all it has going for it.
Run their name on the internet and see all the negative remarks from prior tenants dating back as far as 2005.
APARTMENT ISSUES TO BE AWARE OF:
1. The apartment came with its own bugs. Everyday there is flying moths around. I keep killing them and they keep breeding. Management offers bug spraying, but who really wants pesticides inside their home. My kids don't need to be sprayed either.
2. Neighbors walk their (over 25lb) dogs around the neighbor and let them crap in front of your walkway. The smell is wonderful during the summer. Kinda like a dog potpourri..
3. Front office Manager is rude. Any problems you have she turns it back on to you. Very unprofessional. If you have these type of problems file a complaint with the corporate office. They have an email on their website.
4. Gate on the left side is always broken, so if you were looking for security move somewhere else.
5. They want a $400 NON-REFUNDABLE pet deposit per animal no matter what animal you have. I know other apartments DO NOT have this high of a charge, so if you have several dogs check out other areas that are more pet friendly.
6. And let's not forget the parties all the college kids (you do know this place is very close to Collin Community College) have on the weekends. And they take up all the parking while they are here.
Please think carefully before you rent here. Also, some the apartments do not come with a garage. Very inconvenient.
