The Best Restaurant in the Country 3/3/2007

This is by far the best restaurant with its unique French inspired culinary cuisine and I have been to many of the top restaurants around the country. From the caramelized onion infused butter to the succulent desserts, you won't go wrong at this tiny restaurant. This is truly a hidden gem with the most amazing vegetarian entree that will turn meat lovers into vegetarians for a night! The service is as outstanding as the food. This place is a must for anyone in Tucson. Tip: They don't care if you split all of the dishes! more

EAT HERE! 3/8/2004

I agree that the town has limited creative/fine dining choices. I am from Mpls and tried The Dish the last time I was in town. LOVED it! The service was exceptional and the food was wonderful. I had the scallops and highly recommend them! Pros: atmosphere, service more

One of my favorites 8/8/2003

What a wonderful little hideaway. I was pleased from beginning to end. Since the restaurant is actually connected with an upscale liquor store, my non-wine drinking friend was invited to stroll through the store and ""byo"" from a fabulous selection of premium single malts. My only warning is that the place is Pricey. $42 for ahi tuna ala carte, if I remember. Pros: fabulous food, wonderful ambience, good music Cons: expensive, need reservations more

Top 5 in Tucson 12/31/2002

The Dish is one of the finest eateries in Tucson. The waitstaff is excellent, the wine list is comprehensive, and the food is incredible. I've found it pretty hard to find a decent restaurant in this town, so I was very pleasantly surprised the first time I dined there. It's small and intimate, so make reservations, because there's not a lot of seating. Perfect for a romantic evening. It's a little hard to find, but if you look for the Rum Runner, it's directly behind it more
