Storkland

It took over 13 weeks to get my furniture in when I was told it would only be 6-8 weeks! They blamed it on the furniture company but my friend ordered the same color and didn't have that problem, they just forgot to order it and wouldn't take the blame! They called several times promising it would be in soon and never was, I was very upset with customer service. So if you are going to order furniture, do it a.s.a.p, and make sure they actually order it! more

If you don't like having the same baby stuff as everyone else....this is the place to go. Such a wide variety. The prices varied on your taste...and I thought the staff were great...they were helpful, but NOT overbearing like when you shop in other stores. They respect your space, but when in need of help.....they were very helpful. My only complaint is...when you spend 200.00 on a crib set, you don't expect it to rip after just 1 washing! I WOULD SHOP THERE AGAIN, BUT WOULD WASH MY BEDDING ON A GENTLE CYCLE, AND HANG DRY. more

I Love Storkland!!!! I went to buy my furniture they had everything I wanted. The girls that work there are so helpful and very nice!!!! I was so impressed how they helped me, they even take your bags to the car for you. The prices were very inexpensive, I have looked other places, Target, Wall mart, the prices at storkland were the same or even a little less expensive. When you shop at other places it is impossible to get someone to help you, the girls really know alot about the furniture, car seats, strollers, etc. They are really interested in helping you make your decisions. I recommend Storkland to everyone!!!! I LOVE THAT STORE!!!!! more

Storkland has probably the best selection of baby furniture around. My husband and I bought our daughter's nursery furniture here. We were very discouraged by the selection at other places in the area. We even went to Mobile and shopped at all the big baby stores there. For some reason good, quality, and tasteful baby furniture is very scarce around here. We were very discouraged and running out of time to get the nursery furnished when someone told us about Storkland. I was so happy to walk in and see all the beautiful furniture....until I saw the prices. It is high quality but very high prices. We got lucky and got a package deal so we were able to save some money off the high ticket prices. The delivery was great though and professional. Overall the experience was good and we love the furniture. more

I agree with their slogan "Everything for your baby". I found things that I never knew existed but the store was overcrowded with STUFF. What they couldn't fit in the store they have in books. The store is clean and as organized as it can be with all the stuff they have in there, it is almost too much to look at. I found a beautiful crib, armoire, dresser, and nightstand for my baby there. I didn't find the bedding I wanted which is shocking since they have so much but the crib is beautiful. They are expensive but it is because they carry such high quality furniture and the like. You can find cheaper things out there but it won't last like the things they sale at Storkland will. It isn't just Storkland that is expensive it is any HIGH END baby store. I even went to Mobile and they are even more expensive plus they don't offer delivery...a must if you don't have a truck. Storkland offers delivery and set up at a minimal charge. As to the comment about the staff that the other person made I didn't find that but then again I knew what I wanted and had done research before hand so I knew the answers to my questions before I went. I just walked in asked where it was and ordered it...pretty easy I thought. If what the other person said was true then I guess it would pay off to be educated about the products you want before going in. Just a side note: they sale high chairs everywhere you do not have to pay $100 + for the ones they sale there. That is one thing that I don't think a person could tell the difference on the quality of, after all, your baby is just going to spit green beans and peas all over it. It doesn't matter how much you paid for it after that...it is going to look the same covered in green slime as the cheaper versions. more

if you have the money to spend, then this is the place to do it. they have very great products in their store, but they are very very expensive. the staff was not very helpfull everytime i went in there. they do not tend to people as fast as they should, and they don't know much about what they are selling. more
