Funky gallery with loads of energy!! 1/30/2007

I love this place. Local artists decorate the walls while Northwest bands fill the air with their music. The coffee is tasty and a great comfort on a rainy afternoon. An unusual take on the art gallery turns this place into a gathering place open to art connoisseurs and neophytes alike. The owner Kimberly is a friendly, knowledgeable artist who share her own work on one of the walls. I expect great things to happen to this little gallery. Tourists and locals must check this place out! Pros: Art! Coffee, chocolate, conversation more

A First Thursday Must SEE! 1/30/2007

Having gone to Stir on several occasions, I happily give this Art Gallery my highest rating.\r \r A small independent gallery, Stir features local artists. The owner Kimberly is knowledgeable, friendly and professional. This new gallery is a great addition and alternative to the mostly staid galleries of Pioneer Square.\r \r Stir participates in the First Thursday Artwalk and is a must see. Pros: Great ambience, friendly staff more

Stir is my new favorite gallery on the Artwalk! 1/29/2007

Stir is like a much needed breath of fresh air for the the Pioneer Square art scene. FINALLY a new space showing work of younger local artists. It's a cool space with an unpretentious vibe... mix amazing art with music, fabulous coffee, wine and chocolate and what more could you possibly want? Definitely come check it out. Pros: Interesting and affordable art, cool space, parking out front. more
