Dr. Taylor saved 3 infected teeth of mine 11/15/2011

MY wife has seen Dr. Taylor for over 10 years and loves him. I recently had a root canal done in another office but the tooth still was painful. i decided to have Dr. Taylor look at my tooth because I was wondering if the other dentist had done a good job. Turns out, the dentist had done a decent job with the root canal, but, the infection in the jaw below the tooth was still there. Dr. Taylor spent a full hour, discussing every detail about what needed to be done to fix the problem but never forced me to do anything. He even said I could go back to the other dentist to have the problem fixed if I wanted but I decided to have him do the procedure. It was PAINLESS, and he saved my tooth, without having to extract the tooth. He did not try to get me to do an Implant which would have been a helluva lot more money. I really think he is a good dentist. more

I wish I would have gone to him sooner 4/7/2011

3 years ago my dentist retired and i had to have alot of work done but didnt get it done until after he was long gone. I went to 3 dentists before going to see Dr. Taylor. One of the Dentists did a root canal and left the infection up in the jaw bone. Dr. Taylor removed the infection from the jaw and put cow bone in there. He saved my tooth and helped me avoid the cost of an implant and I really appreciate him saving me money. I was treated very good by him and his staff. He is a good dentist and now my son in law is seeing him and said the same thing. more

Best Dentist Ive Ever Been too 3/29/2011

I cant believe what other people have said about Dr. Taylor. I went to see him after having 3 implants fail that were placed at a specialist. Dr. Taylor explained everything and was very kind. He re did the work that the specialist messed up and I can finally eat after 3 years. I want to tell you NOT to listen to the other reviews about him and recommend him 100% to everyone. His staff is kind and they took care of me very well. He called me the same night from his house and called me the next day to see how I was doing. He never talked bad about the other dentist and just talked about how why and how to fix the problem. Go see him, you wont be disappointed. more

I recomend Dr. Taylor 1/25/2007

I recomend this dentist . When I went the receptionist was very nice. The hygenist was quiet & shy but also nice. Dr. Taylor cleaned my teeth painlessly. Also Dr Taylor was very polite. He is the first dentist that didn't jam his fingers in my mouth after asking a question; he politely waited for me to finish talking.\r It is true that they bill you with the copay (some people might care, but I don't mind holding on to my $15 until I get the rest of the bill... one easy payment).\r I did have one cavity, I made an appt & he did a great job. I also want to add he is good with fearful patients. Pros: Very nice geniune people, good with fearful paitents Cons: you cannot pay copay at office, it is billed to you more

Poor quality, ill informed 8/23/2006

I strongly recommend you avoid this dentist! I came for two separate appointments that he wasn't ready for, forcing me to come back and miss more work. When I asked him about what he knew about the health effects of mercury from fillings, he knew nothing. His demeanor and way of handling patient concerns is dismissive, bordering on childish. He actually ridiculed a friend of mine for requesting nitrous oxide, calling him a ""baby."" more

AVOID! 7/26/2006

DO NOT GO TO THIS DENTIST!\r My wife went in as a new patient and was treated horribly by Dr. Taylor. Before she was even seen, she asked if she could pay the $15 co-payment, then be billed for the remaining amount. The receptionist went to Dr. Taylor to discuss, following which Dr. Taylor came out to her, appearing red-faced and angry, and said ""we don't do payment arrangements for bills in such a small amount as yours will be"". My wife then asked how much is it going to be? He then began calculating, and told her it would be something like $65. She had just run out of checks, and we dont use credit cards, so my wife pulled her debit card out (the only form of payment she had, dropped it on the counter, and said ""try this"". Dr. Taylor quickly picked her card up, handed it back angrily, and said ""no thanks""...""if you don't think you can pay $65 dollars for our services then you don't need to be here in the first place."" \r \r Mind you...this is taking into consideration that our insurance was already going to pay 80% of the bill, and she was going to make the $15 co-payment! \r \r Granted$65 is not a lot of money, but in Seattle, with the cost of living what it is, for a family of 6, EVERYTHING has to be budgeted out! We had budgeted the $15 co-payment, but not an additional $65. Is this so hard to understand?\r \r My wife, a mother of four children, one being a 5 month old infant, does not deserve to be treated like this by ANYONE...especially a professional service provider. She had even arranged for a babysitter to keep our 4 children during the time she was at the dentist (I was at work). We have never encountered such blatant, audacious, RUDE behavior by any professional in our 13 years of marriage. Cons: DR. Taylor is RUDE and should NOT 't be in the people business. more
