The Plainsman Museum is a true treasure in the small town of Aurora. You wouldn’t expect such a quality museum in this little town in central Nebraska. But it has very nice displays, including expansive displays of things like farm equipment, that people can touch and interact with. If you want a child to learn what it was like in early pioneer days, this is a place that will teach them that. But it can also teach them about other, more recent things, such as with it’s collection of stoves and dishwashers, dating from several decades ago to the present.
