What a wonderful, little hide-a-way place. Got stuck in the flash snow storm on route 74. Had no place to go. Stopped in for a meal and to my delight there was literally a five star Sunday brunch with a one star price tag (Just $15 for beef, ribs, chef made omelets, seafood, soups, salads, and a wide selection of vegetables -- anything you could want). Well, I ate like a pig and as the snow came down and piled up, I had no place to go. Luckily for me, I was able to rent a room at the modest inn, connected to the restaurant. Be warned ahead of time, this is not a Hilton, but what it is, is clean, friendly, inexpensive. It is not a glorified truck stop; the inn is a bit worn out in some places. But, there is daily housekeeping, they bring you extra pillows and towels if you ask. Every staff member was extremely friendly and accommodating. There was free cable, free Wifi, hot and cold running water. I have traveled a lot for my job and I can tell you that for less than $70, the room was clean, the bed was well made, and the carpet was vacuumed. One other guest who also got by the surprise snow storm complained that this was just a ""glorified truck stop."" This is not true. This place is humble, but it is clean, cheap, safe, and friendly. FIVE STARS ! And I would stay here again.
