Like to Ride Your Bicycle?
Lehigh River's bicycle trail is unpaved and follows a converted railroad bed 25 miles down a gentle grade. The trip takes you past waterfalls and spectacular mountain scenery, and into the town of Jim Thorpe. Rafters on the Lehigh will find the strongest waters in the spring and fall when heavy rains lift river levels; in the summer, the waterway is more amenable to float trips. Bike and raft rentals are nearby.
